Giuseppe Armani Figurines: Figurine Collectors
Giuseppe Armani Figurines are produced in Tuscany, Italy by skilled craftsman with a heritage of fine sculpture dating back over twenty-five centuries. Mr. Giuseppe Armani died suddenly in 2006 leaving his Armani figurines to the artists and artisans of the Florence Sculture d’Arte to carry forward his tradition.
Armani was born in Calci (Pisa). He was a natural artist who impressed everyone with his fresh, colorful art. The town of Calci was a rather poor village and lacked the attachment to classical art works for which Tuscany is so well known. It was not till later that he traveled Tuscany and was exposed to the great masterpieces of the Renaissance era.
In 1975 Armani worked with a collection of artists in Florence to found his collaboration with Florence Sculture d’Arte. The collaboration further his artistic creation and emotions. He developed a renowned ability to put character and sould to his sculptures. Armani’s art was able to be formed into Armani figurines by the Sculture d’Arte.
