Artist Dale Chihuly famous for fabulous Art Glass is a Tacoma, Washington native. Tacoma Art Museum since 1977 has featured a Dale Chihuly Art Glass Exhibit whose works were primarly donated by the famous artist. Tacoma Art Museum opened in 1935 and is currently in its fifth building location. Annually 100,000 people visit the Tacoma Art Museum. The museums collections contain more than 3500 works.
