Duncan and Miller Glass Company closed in 1955 just over 56 years ago.  Collectors and family still remember the hand made glass maker through both a museum and collector club.  Twenty years after closing Betty Duncan Alison and her friend Orva Heissenbuttel joined to start The National Duncan Glass Society.  In 1993 they opened the Duncan and Miller Glass Museum not far from where the old plant stood in Washington, Pennsylvania.
