Willow Tree Thinking of You Angel Figurine by Susan Lordi. 5.5″ high. Resin and metal. Gift boxed. Angel with conch shell to her ear. “Keeping you close in my thoughts” Since 2000, Susan Lordi has been creating these figurative sculptures that speak in quiet ways of deep emotion and inspiration. Artist Susan Lordi carves each original sculpture, then pieces are cast from her original carving in resin and individually painted by hand. Expression is conveyed by gestures only – a tilt of the head, a turn of the body, or placement of the hands.
The simplicity of form and the absence of facial features signify Willow Tree. Emotions are left to the viewer to interpret, which makes them powerful and personal. It is Susan Lordi’s hope that these pieces be meaningful to both the giver and the receiver.

How Many Pieces Are in the Willow Tree Collection?

There are a total of 257 pieces in the Willow Tree Collection, all hand-carved by artist Susan Lordi. The collection consists of 129 figurines, 42 ornaments, 47 decorative pieces, and 39 miscellaneous items. Some of these items may be discontinued. The 129 figurines are comprised of 41 angels, each bringing their own message of love and inspiration; five pieces that help tell the Christmas Story, complete with a 15″ two-piece set of Joseph, Mary, and baby Jesus; and 16 pieces belonging to the Nativity scene.
